What is MACH?
MACH is a theoretical approach behind Service Oriented technology solutions in a highly-decoupled, technology-agnostic ,and best-of-breed approach. This is the antithesis to a monolithic approach often seen in traditional enterprise technology.

MACH” stands for Microservices based, API-first, Cloud-native SaaS, and Headless.

Microservices based: Individual pieces of business functionality that are independently developed, deployed, and managed.
API-first: All functionality is exposed through an API.
Cloud-native SaaS: SaaS that leverages the cloud, beyond storage and hosting, including elastic scaling and automatically updating.
Headless: Front-end presentation is decoupled from back-end logic and channel, programming language, and is framework agnostic.

The core tenant of MACH is that it places the control of platform selection with the Merchant, where individual solutions are interchangeable at marginal cost and high speed on a path of continuous improvement as technology services evolve and new products enter the market.
