Atomic needed regional pricing and inventory for Australia and New Zealand within one Shopify Plus setup. The local site also had to explain technical product features and apply different discount rules to eligible customer groups.

The project
Atomic makes winter-sports equipment and is part of Amer Sports. Its local commerce project adapted the global design to a Shopify Dawn-based storefront on Shopify Plus.
Shopify Markets supported regional trading. The site used the SAP connection shared across Amer Sports brands, while product metafields managed feature hotspots on product imagery. Customer tags and metafields supported group-specific discounts and annual limits.
The result was a locally managed shopping experience within the wider group’s platform approach.
