Independent stores managed their own inventory and pricing, while some products required in-person collection and advice. The ecommerce platform needed to respect those differences and help customers find products, parts, manuals and other useful content.

  • The project

STIHL SHOP is a national network of specialist outdoor power-equipment retailers. Overdose built its first B2C ecommerce platform on Adobe Magento Open Source, with multiple storefronts reflecting the franchise structure.

The experience included click and collect, payment options, live chat, Algolia search and personalisation. Integration work connected the network's operational systems, while collection rules kept appropriate products linked to local-store advice and support.
